Figure of Tara and his halo
Fine figure in erected tribhanga position, standing on a double lotus base with beaded borders. The hands, in teaching (vitarka mudra) and compassion (varada mudra) positions, are between two big lotus plants which end with two big flowers at shoulder level. The figure is richly adorned with jewelry and semi-precious stones. The figure wears a long dress chiselled with floral pattern, and a jewelled belt. Serene expression on the face.Beautiful, high-relieved, embossed halo consisting in one copper leaf of great quality, decorated with the effigy of several deities.On the halo, several representations picturing animals and vegetals, all surrounded by a beaded border and palmettes. Good conditions.
